Born and raised in Vermont, Ashley is an avid outdoor enthusiast and prefers to experience the world through the lens of her camera. Whether it is in the wilderness, the studio, on a concert stage, city street, horse barn or anywhere in between, Ashley has developed a keen eye for those fleeting moments that express emotion, character and atmosphere. Her work has been featured in AdWeek, Forbes Magazine, National Geographic's YourShot, and exhibited in the Soho Photo Gallery in New York City. A graduate of The University of Vermont with a degree in Film and Television Studies, she has found that there is a strong similarity between photography and film. Ashley has produced successful Kickstarter films, short films, and approaches projects with the necessary photographer's eye. When she is not behind the camera, Ashley can be found often on the back of her horse or on an airplane en route to her next photography destination. Ashley specializes in fine art equestrian photography, putting her lifetime of horse experience to work and has developed a niche for capturing that exact moment under studio lighting to create arresting images both in the stable and the ring. Always a believer in learning from the very best, Ashley has trained under Internationally acclaimed photographers Ami Vitale, Jerry Ghionis, and Joe McNally.
